Files

After depacking, EasyCMS consists of some files in the admin folder:

All of these files are necessary for EasyCMS to work.

To generate your site you need to tweak these:

EasyCMS editable files

navigation.xml is the sitemap data in XML format. To learn how to change this, please refer to the "Setting up the Sitemap" chapter in Usage.

template.html is the look and feel of your page. This HTML file will be used to generate all the other pages accordingly. To learn what to add to the HTML to make it work, refer to the "Changing the Template" chapter in Usage.

The remaining files must not be changed:

EasyCMS non editable files

index.php is the script itself.
ecms.css is the stylesheet for the toolbar and the form elements.
commands.xml is the list of available commands in XML format, this file is used when you select "List commands" on the toolbar.
Any change to those files violates the free use of EasyCMS.
